I like Cad Yellow Medium because it's a good pure, clear yellow, and also that like all Cads, it, has some opacity to it. I find that useful sometimes. I'm not one of those that insist on all transparent colors, though that's nice too...I like some opacity when I need it, and LOVE granulating colors.
