Oh woe! I was too late! Only after I had chopped the pumpkins and put them into the compost pile did I see your lovely photo. Why didn't I think of that? Lesson learned: the beauty around us is easily overlooked.
I dearly love pumpkins! I keep ours as long as possible. Some have lasted clear through the winter until nearly summer! We don't carve them. Yes, inside the house all that time.
I love this! Makes me want to pull out my pencils and watercolors and say farewell to my own spooky jack o lanterns now.
