Brand New Flickr Group!

Hi all...there have been a lot of people in our Facebook group wishing we had a Flickr group as well...and now we do!  Don't know why it took me so long...

It's right here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/artists-journal-workshop/  and please feel free to join us there...I'm lonely all by myself!

And of course if you're not a member of our Facebook group and would like to be, just click the link above...it's very active!

  3. Yay!! A Flickr group! Thank you so much. I don't hate facebook, but I don't use it often because I find it a little overwhelming/distracting/annoying. But, I really enjoy flickr, and just figured out how to post mobile uploads so I don't have to always scan (which I find so time consuming...so I just don't do it) So, thank you so much!!

PS: If anyone can help, I keep getting this message when I try to post a comment. So, I have to post anonamously.

"Your current account (*********@*********.net) does not have access to view this page.
Click here to logout and change accounts."

I don't know why. I don't have another google account. I thougt I had fixed this once, but now I can't remember what I did.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

  4. Wow, Wendi, I don't have a clue, I'm sorry! I hope someone does...

  5. Wendi - I have occasionally had that same problem with Blogspot. I've found that if I shut down whatever internet engine I'm using - in my case Chrome and re-access it usually works ok - it's very annoying when it happens

Kate - thank you for the Flickr group - love it

  7. Thank you Kate, and Thank you Julie! I just love the new Flickr group. Everyone is so creative, and I really enjoy the diversity of everyone's styles. Its very inspiring to see what other people do. I really appreciate the group.

I have yet to post. I'm still trying to figure out how to get away with posting pictures from my cell phone, instead of scanning or photographing with my good camera and then uploading. But, sadly, my little LG EnV3 cell phone just does't take that great of pictures of my sketch-journal; it get bluury when I get too close. But I will just keep trying. My b-day is is Oct. so maybe the birthday wish fairy will bring me an iphone4.

By the way, Julie and anyone else out there, if you have experienced, or start experiencing the the same problem I mentioned above try this:
Sign out of your google account, then sign back in but do not select the "remember me/stay signed in" option. Works like a charm. I went searching in blogger help and found this fix here http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/blogger/thread?tid=25f452afefb7b5fa&hl=en

  8. Thank you Kate, and thank you Julie!

I'm really enjoying the new Flickr group. It makes a great addition to this blog and the book. Its so interesting to see everyone's journal pages; so much variety and so inspiring. I'm so glad your wrote this book Kate, and very happy that that there are so many wondeful artists in on it with you!

By the way, Julie and anyone else who may be experiencing that same problem I mentioned above; I did a little research and learned that if you log out of your google account, then log back in but uncheck, or do NOT select, the "remember me/stay logged in" option it seems to resolve this glitch. Here's an address to the more detailed help description http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/blogger/thread?tid=25f452afefb7b5fa&hl=en

  10. I'm glad you found the fix, Wendi...saved me typing it out. ;) I only knew because I researched the same thing to help out a friend who was having the same issues. I think it's a Cookie problem with some browsers.

KATE - YAY!!! I'm so excited you have a Flickr group now as I don't have a Facebook account.
