A new video on YouTube for quick sketching techniques
I did this for one of my online classes, but decided to share--hope you enjoy it! (I had to shoot it three times, I forgot to turn the camera on the first time...)
ooo you actually talked on this one, I do believe that's the first time I've heard your voice... You sound really good :-) I really liked this video... thank you for sharing it with us.
I've been doing that on quite a few of the new ones, Elaine, especially for class. They're such quick little things, I figured it's faster to explain than to try to figure out the movie making software and do captions, for which I have to borrow Joseph's computer!
Kate - I just(finally) watched your watercolour pencil and this watercolour brush video. It was lovely to hear and see you work with the tools that I use all the time. You work so fluidly and it was great to see the techniques that you use. Watching the waterbrush with the paint palette was an education; as I only use it with the pencils. Thanks once again for sharing your knowledge
Love this! So clear and straightforward. As I expect from your teaching by now, not only is it informative, but it is also inspiring. I want to run right out and do some sketching like this now! Thank you!
Thank you! I'm excited to get one of these aqua brushes, so fun to watch your Chinese brush stroke influence, seems to come so easy & beautiful for you :)
thank you for this post, I want to talk with you about something, I suppose that you know Bob Ross work? well I like to study deeply his art, can you tell me what is the technique used by Bob?
Thank you for wonderful video, I love water brushes.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I sure end up using them a lot...they're SO handy for journal keepers.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy your videos. Thanks for making them, Kate! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL -- I guess we call the one without active camera a dress rehearsal? Amazing little video.
ReplyDeleteThanks you two! (And Shirley, whose comment disappeared. :-D) Of COURSE the one that disappeared was best!
