I think what is the most challenging thing for me is how much colors change when they dry on this paper... This is watercolor version, and below are gouache and marker versions.
Which one is closest to what you were seeing, Nina? And yes, that does take some getting used to. Watercolors often lighten, gouache often gets darker. Eeep!
I am so happy to have found your two sites. As an artist I have always admired and been interested in learning more about journaling.
